About this Estate
An eclectic private small made using very minimal glitching and zero floating. Screenshots have minor post editing but no shaders were used. ______________________________________________________________________ The yard might be frozen over and cold, but the onsen is warm. If it gets too hot, attached to the onsen is a snowy deck to relax and enjoy hot tea or coffee, or a snack of (probably frozen...)oranges from the orange tree. While you relax, admire a picturesque view of a distant stretch of Ishgard over the fenceline. There's a nearby training dummy for practice and a tabletop grill for lunch nestled in a wooded corner of the yard. Inside the house, enter into a foyer with a shoe rack, bench, and wardrobe for coats. From their, enter into either a kitchen or a cozy living room. A narrow hallway lined with books leads to the lower floors, which open up into a large, overgrown mage's studio. Off the side of the studio is a luxurious tiled bathroom, and then the deepest part of the home is a cozy, cluttered bedroom with lots of nature to appreciate despite being indoors. Feel free to come visit, g-pose, or relax and afk. Decorates for Christmas and Halloween! In spooky season, come trick or treating and get some candy from my retainers.
Design Inspiration
I wanted to combine an old fashioned, hobbit-home sort of place with a mage's potion-making study. For the interior color palette, the intent was lots of warm, dark wood, lush greens, and Crystarium/Hydaelyn blues. Cardamom misses the Skatay range, so I wanted the yard to be on the wilder side and for the interior to be as green as possible to represent his homesickness.
